For the last few years, it has been awesome to work with Far Future Enterprises to bring classic and Traveller 5 designs to life for fans with 3D printers. Although we have a huge passion for classic Traveller art, it has always bothered me just a little, that we could not design for the Traveller edition that we actually play here at the office!
So, when I was told earlier in the year that Mongoose would now be managing our license, I was very excited at the new opportunities this presented! After many back-and-forth discussions with Matthew Sprange and the team at Mongoose Publishing, we are thrilled to present a tie-in to the Fifth Frontier War campaign!
Here we are, six months later, just a few weeks from bringing the forces of the Zhodani Consulate and Third Imperium to your tabletop, via Kickstarter! You can expect military troops, grav tanks, fighters, auxiliary vehicles, as well as civilian Travellers caught in the crossfire!
Our licensed models are based on Mongoose art from the Fifth Frontier War campaign series, including material from Flashpoints, The Imperial Navy, The Third Imperium, and Aliens of Charted Space Volume 1. Oh, and maybe one or two original designs as well!
For those without a 3D printer, a campaign-exclusive physical print run will be available during the campaign. Pick up a squad of imperial marines, or a whole legion of troops and vehicles!
We plan to have in the range of 80 miniatures in total by the time we finish the campaign. In addition, we have six vehicles designed, with more to unlock with enough support.
