The Haena is not named for any particular creature of myth, but is an Old Norse word for “hen”.
The Haena is a late entry to the Aesir Fleet. Not a pure Aesir Shipyards design, it is a collaboration with Hyperion Corporation based on their highly successful Hyperion Sphere design. While the Hyperion Sphere as a high efficiency conventional chemical rocket, the collaboration lengthened the Sphere into a capsule, adding a far more powerful fusion drive for interplanetary travel, and a payload belt.
