A versatile vessel with a powerful M-Drive, the Ship’s Boat can transport passengers and cargo across a star system in the Traveller universe. It is often seen operating from larger vessels or as boarding craft in smaller militaries.

Design features for the Standard 30-Ton Ship’s Boat

  • Detailed Interiors – Scaled for 28mm play (can be rescaled in slicer)
  • Rotating Airlock Door – Suitable for docking in larger vessels in tight quarters*
  • Extendable Airlock Gangway – For passengers disembarking on a landing pad*
  • Sliding Garage Doors – For easy loading of cargo and luggage*
  • Removable tops for ease of play*

  • Designed for FDM 3D printing at 0.2 – 0.1 mm layer height
  • Assembles without glue using a combination of OpenLOCK clips and our own new clip system
  • Each of our craft prints support free (supports where used are for added stability for fast printers with input shaping)
  • Optional channels for 4.5mm metal support rods
  • 3MF build plates are provided for quick prints
  • Support to install a coin cell battery with a 5mm LED lamp for engine lights

The Passenger Cabin

This cabin is especially made for the Traveller small craft 30-ton Ship’s Boat. The cabin is designed to make it easy to reconstruct your ship into a passenger vessel by removing the cargo area and replace it with the cabin.

The 30-Ton Slow Boat

The 30-Ton Slow Boat first featured as one of our social stretch goals in our Traveller Small Craft Kickstarter campaign in 2023. This vessel is a quite close relative to the Ship’s Boat but with some noticeable changes. It’s streamlined hull includes fixed wings and trades thrust for greater cargo capacity.

The Ship’s Boat as well as the Slow Boat are fully released, printable and has assembly instructions at the ready.
