Starship V

On Wednesday the 9th of September, 2020, we launched our 5th Kickstarter campaign, Starship V – Sleipnir, Crew Miniatures and Deck Designer.

Featuring a new, vertical ship called the Sleipnir, with a hard sci-fi influence, we have also premiered a new set of highly detailed crew miniatures by Papsikels, and our Deck Designer, a software tool to help you plan out your prints and keep your hair on your head.

The Sleipnir is fully detailed inside and out.

The Sleipnir features 11 decks, all accessed by central ladder shafts with a working lift system. It is protected by pop out point defence canons, and propelled by five fusion engines.

Designed in a universe without deflector shields, it is covered in ablative heat panels and RCS thrusters, built more like a skyscraper than a traditional sci-fi ship which is analogous to a sea-going vessel.

The decks include a bridge, crew airlock, medbay, galley, two levels of crew quarters, a cargo bay, workshop, and engineering.

The ship is crewed by a rag-tag team of human offshoots, including multiple poses for standing, sitting, moving in zero-gravity, or action poses.
